📚In our first book club we discussed the concept of invisible strings that connect us all. As children dive into the busy routine of school and after-school activities, it’s important to remember to take moments to connect with them, ensuring they never feel alone and reminding ourselves of the invisible string that binds us together. 📚

☘️Gratitude is a mindset, requiring intentional effort for personal growth. I have made a deliberate choice to prioritise gratitude and joy over mere happiness, as I believe that happiness is subjective and can be influenced by our own actions. As for my intentions for 2024, I aim to simplify my life in order to strike a balance between being a mother to two young children and my work as a consultant in social and emotional learning. 💫Please add a comment below with your intentions for 2024 and tag a friend. 💫The first two people will win an Emotional Wellbeing bundle.

📚 Join our Children’s Book Club! 🌟
Over 80 families have already joined our initiative to promote the joy of reading with our children. 🎉
But we’re not just your ordinary book club! 🤩 We’re taking a unique approach by discussing themes in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) through literature. 📖✨
By exploring these important topics through books, we’re not only fostering a love for reading but also nurturing emotional intelligence and empathy in our little ones. 🌈💕. The first book is a lovely book about Invisible Strings written by Patrice Karst. It is a heartwarming story that explores the concept of an invisible string that connects people who love each other, no matter where they are.
The book uses the metaphor of an invisible string to explain that even when we are physically apart from our loved ones, we are still connected to them through love. It reassures children that they are never alone and that their loved ones are always with them in their hearts. 📚Q1: How does the concept of the invisible string strengthen the bonds within our family? 📚Q2: Can you think of specific ways in which the invisible string reminds us that we are always connected to our family members, even when we are physically apart?

🌸🌼🌺 Proud and Grateful! 🌺🌼🌸
Hey friends! 💕 Just had the most amazing day in class! 🎉 A student’s godmother was invited to join because one of the students was proud of her friendship garden. 🌈🌷
Each color in the garden represents a different trait of a good friend. We learned about boundaries, joy, trust, empathy, and respect. 🤝💞💚
I am so proud to have witnessed this special moment. 🙏💖 Let’s all strive to be the best friends we can be, spreading kindness and building strong, meaningful relationships! 🌸🤗

My 7 year old recently mentioned he was super bored and did not know what to do. So I took the opportunity to nurture how creative our mind can be once we are bored. So here I have plain paper; coloured pens and told him a story of a dot going for a walk. A few minutes later, he created this explosion of colours.
