From Fatigue to Fresh
Last month, I started a detox diet, saying goodbye to dairy, gluten, processed foods, meats, and anything with sugar in it.
Honestly, saying no to some of my favourite fruits was upsetting. But it’s been quite the adventure, and I wanted to share some of the ups and downs from this experience.
The first week was rough. I felt like a slug, barely having the energy to do anything. But I knew this was just my body adjusting to the new changes.
My detox was in full swing, getting rid of all the junk it had been storing. I did just want to indulge for a second though.
Hydration and superfoods became my go-to. Got those litres of water in every day! These nutrient-dense foods helped me regain my energy and played a big role in achieving my weight goals.
I’m really proud of maintaining discipline throughout this process. I stayed strong and stuck to my detox.
It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely worth it.
The health benefits of a detox help your body kick out the toxins, and can even give you mental clarity. Better digestion, clearer skin, and my sleep is soo much better. By cutting out all the unhealthy stuff, I’ve given my body the reset it desperately needed.

There’s More to It Than Just Making Money, Right?
I remember when I first started working online, the freedom felt almost out of reach. I was depressed, stuck, and had no direction on how I was going to fulfill my dreams.
Being in control of your own schedule, choosing when and where you work, gives you the freedom to live life on your terms. This is what I craved!
You get to roll out of bed, grab your laptop, and boom! Your 2-minute commute is done! No more rush-hour traffic, no more soul-sucking office walls, just you and your ideas from the comfort of your own home (or wherever you choose).
Working online is a mindset shift. It’s about realizing that you don’t have to play by society’s rules, you can create your own.
But let’s think bigger for a sec.
What about making a difference while traveling the world?
Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of working online is that you don’t have to do it alone. There’s a whole community of people from different cultures, backgrounds, and time zones, ready to support and inspire you on your journey.
Oh, and let’s not forget about self-transformation. You’ll pick up new skills, constantly evolving and growing as both a professional and a person. There’s no time like the present.

Don’t just wish for change – take the first step towards it!
Starting my own business wasn’t about having all the answers or the perfect financial situation.
It was about taking that first step, even when it felt daunting.
Yes, it was nerve-wrecking, but I refused to let fear hold me back.
Despite the doubts and uncertainties, I saved until I could make it happen. It was scary, yes, but I was determined to break free from my stagnant reality.
My mental health was suffering, and the thought of remaining in my comfort zone was suffocating. Could I really continue to deny myself the opportunity to travel freely, to grow into my best self, all because of fear?
No more race home to enjoy what little left of the day I had.
No more waiting for approval to take time off.
No more living for the weekends.
I realised that with an open mind and by confronting my limiting beliefs, I could pursue what truly matters to me. What if I told you that you could too?

Ever had those moments where life feels like a blur?
Yeah, been there.
Taking a breather and slowing things down can be a game-changer.
I’ve never been one for rushing around, but somehow, my days felt like a constant race. Work shifts, meet-ups, rinse, and repeat. It left me craving some downtime, but when it came, I was too drained to enjoy it.
But slowing down? It’s like a breath of fresh air. Less stress, more chill vibes, and deeper connections with the ones who matter. Plus, it lets us appreciate life’s simple pleasures.
Switching to online work? Best decision ever!
Finally got to craft my own schedule, work from wherever, and put what’s truly important front and centre.
Sure, the work matters, but it’s about real fulfilment!
That comes from finding your balance and making time for yourself.

It’s been a minute since I posted on feed! Life’s been pulling me in all directions lately. One moment you’re cruising along, and the next, bam!
And just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, another hurdle pops up.
But here’s the thing, there’s always something that can keep us going.
It’s the people who lift you up when you’re down, who remind you of your strength when you feel like giving up. Spending time with the right people, those who truly get you, can make all the difference.
Who or what has been your go-to when life feels a bit empty?
Is it a heart-to-heart with your bestie over tea or a virtual hangout with your online tribe?
Surrounding yourself with positivity and support can help navigate even when the times get a little challenging.

Ever looked back on your day, week, or year and thought, “Dam, I’ve come a long way”?
I have 🙂and it felt bloody good.
That’s the power of reflection! It’s like hitting the pause button, and watching the highlight reel of your progress.
Not only does reflection give you a chance to celebrate your wins, but it also helps you spot areas where you can level up.
Sure, I’m on a journey, creating a better future for myself, but with all the crap in between it was good to appreciate the growth that came from it.
Maybe you haven’t yet started taking self care routines seriously enough. No worries! Reflection helps us see what’s working and what could use a little TLC.

What’s next….?
My second day back, a week after burying my Nana B I was made redundant from my 9-5!
Talk about low blows.
Don’t get me wrong this hurt! 😢 I had to find the strength to keep myself from falling into a self sabotaging trap and feeling sorry for myself.
For me quitting on my goals was never going to be an option but I had to take a minute and ask myself what I learnt from this!
Believe it or not in some ways this was a blessing in disguise.
If I hadn’t started working online I’d probably feel more like I had no direction but because of it I do!
Now I don’t have to waste my energy on making someone else’s dream a reality.
Now I get to have slower mornings!
Now I don’t have worry about those dam train strikes! ☺️
This is part of my journey and it’s a huge step towards creating the life I deserve.
Everything happens for a reason because when you know you’ve got goals to reach new levels to get to, you don’t just stop there!
I know for a fact that 9-5 job was not going to get me there.
But until then I’m just doing my best to keep my mind and soul in check to keep me on track!

Sometimes gratitude can be hard to find!
When you are faced with adversity, that loss, that pain.
You may feel like you have lost your ability to be able to express yourself freely.
Be yourself again!
This is me, still healing, still learning.
Sometimes during times of difficulty we can reflect, seek clarity and a change in perspective.
Train yourself to see those gifts everyday!
It’s not just about being happy all the time to be grateful!
Being grateful can infact bring us happiness! ☺️

2023 My Year of Lessons!
Lesson 1. Do what you say you are going to do! ”Imperfect Action is better than Perfect Inaction. JUST DO IT!
Lesson 2. Being present/in the moment. Creating memories that will forever be remembered!
Lesson 3. Changing your environment can help ultimately change your current situation.
Surrounding yourself with the wrong people will only hold you back. Keeping you from realizing your capabilities and staying on track of your goals.
This year has allowed me to express my gratitude for the people who have given support along the way!
Its time to celebrate every experience, even the tough ones, because their the ones that can fuel us with the most growth.
So Cheers to health, happiness and prosperity in 2024!

Talking about your emotions!
Yes it may feel scary.. But talking about them may be the very things that can take even a little bit of the weight off.
For me its been Quite an emotional rollercoaster actually for a few months now, for many different reasons!
Thankfully I was able to see these experiences as lessons!
The truth is, during your growth journey you will encounter times of difficulty and struggle and that’s okay ❤️
Because how will we know what conquering them will feel like!
Knowing that you can overcome whatever life throws at you will only make you stronger!
Cry to release!
Forgive to heal!
Learn to love yourself!
Let go to grow!

Prioritising my health is just for show!!

These were things I was never disciplined in or consistent in doing everyday.
And by staying persistent, holding myself accountable I am able to continue to see the results I want.
It’s been about 3 months since I started “dieting” I can definitely feel and see the changes taking place.
These are things I chose for myself and not for anyone else.
Trusting and focussing on the process rather than the destination is so important to actually reaching your goals.
