Help people be their best self, to learn more and be more, whilst building an online business.

25/12/2025

When was the last time you actually took care of you?

Not the rushed five minutes, doing something you love. Something that makes you feel like you again. Some days the best thing I can do for my business is take care of the woman running it.

I used to think self care was a reward for being productive. Now I see it as the reason I can keep going without burning out.

Growth feels easier when I am regulated.! Ideas flow better when I am rested. I show up stronger when I feel like myself again.

Your goals need you.

But they need the version of you who feels grounded, rested, and connected to herself.

Burnout is real when you are juggling life, a job, and a dream at the same time.

So I remind myself often.
You are allowed to pause.

You are allowed to care for yourself while you build the life you want.

Both matter.
You matter.

People ask what I actually do online… so here is the simple version

I am living life as you do. Learning as I go. Keeping my plants alive. You know… the usual. 😂

And alongside all of that, I am building something of my own. No chaos. No complications. Just choosing a path that gives me options in the future.

I partnered with a company that pays everyday people to learn digital skills and share high quality products. And with the way their compensation works… one sale can genuinely replace an entire month of a normal wage. That still surprises me sometimes.

After ten years in hospitality chaos… after thinking an office job would finally bring peace… after being made redundant one week after burying my Gran Nan… this taught me something important.

No job is ever truly safe.

But the skills you build for yourself will always stay with you.
So that is what I am doing here. Growing skills. Growing confidence. Growing something that gives me choices.

And if any part of this lights something up inside you… you can build it too.

For as long as I can remember, I have been the independent one. The one who handles it. The one who figures things out quietly. The one who enjoys her own company and protects her peace like it is sacred.

Being introverted is natural for me. Being selective with my energy is natural for me. Relying on myself first has always felt like the safest place to be.

But as I’ve grown, I started to notice something. Independence can become its own comfort zone. A beautiful one. A strong one. But still a comfort zone.

There came a point where I had to learn a new layer of myself. The layer that allows support. The layer that lets someone meet me halfway. The layer that understands that letting people in does not take anything away from who I am. It simply expands what is possible both personally and professionally.

Stepping out of the comfort zone of doing everything alone changed me in ways I didn’t expect. It showed me that strength is not just carrying things on my own. It is also knowing when to let someone else walk beside me. It is softness. It is trust. It is growth.

And maybe that is the real evolution. Not becoming less independent. Just becoming more open.

If you are naturally independent like me, this is your reminder. Accepting help does not weaken you. It makes the journey feel lighter while you continue becoming who you are meant to be.

I’ve been sitting with myself lately, really looking at what I want the next six months to feel like. And it feels good to finally plan things in a way that actually fits me rather than forcing myself into a version of life that doesn’t.

And maybe you’re in that space too…

where you feel yourself outgrowing the version you used to be

but you’ve been shrinking yourself because being seen feels uncomfortable

second guessing decisions you’ve already made

or pouring your energy into things and people that don’t pour anything back.

It happens.

But it doesn’t have to keep happening.

I’d rather choose a direction, even if it feels a little messy, than sit still waiting for the perfect moment to magically appear.

So tell me…If you had to shift one thing before this year wraps up, what would it be? ✨
