Keep up your English learning momentum over the summer months. Consider journal writing. Writing just 2 or more sentences every day helps keep you immersed in English language learning. Write about what you did today, or something unusual you saw. Did you like that new movie you saw with your friends? Or, enjoyed the outing you went on with your family? Write about it. It will take only 10 minutes.

Watching movies is a fun way to expand your English vocabulary. Be sure and turn on the subtitles as you watch. This way you HEAR and SEE the words. You see the new vocabulary being used in everyday situations. And remember you can just pause the movie, look up the new word and write it in your vocabulary journal.

Playing games is another great way to expand and improve your English vocabulary. Some fun games to try are: Scrabble, Boggle, Upwords, and Bananagrams. For some games like Hangman or Pictionary you only need paper and a pencil. So call up your friends and plan a word game play date. It’s so easy and fun.
