Dr. Ibrahim's background is cross-disciplinary including criminology, psychology (with an Islamic Psychology intersect), Islamic studies and education. Dr. Ibrahim has been actively involved with various stakeholders via cross-cultural training to create awareness of IPV/DFV issues related to Muslims and how to address them and is currently involved in equipping faith-based leaders on appropriate skills and knowledge on IPV/DFV related issues to make them more accessible to Muslim victims of DFV.

As Muslims, we want to ensure our hard-earned wealth is going into halal and ethical investments. So when it grows, inshaAllah, it grows with barakah. Investments can be complicated enough, but when trying to figure out what is halal and what isn't, things can get a little murky. It doesn't have to be.
Join us on Monday December 7th 6.00 pm EST /7 p.m AST for a live Q/A session with Imam Nabil Khan where we sit down (virtually of course) and talk all about investments, and how we can ensure our money is put to good use. And what to expect when it's time to purify the gains and pay your Zakat. We are proud to co-host this session with the Nova Scotia Islamic Community Center (NSICC). Want to make sure your question gets answered? Send it in advance at: [email protected]
Shaykh Nabil Khan currently is an Imam in a number of local mosques, supervises and consults the BCMA Halal monitoring in the B.C Lower MainLand, Conducts Numerous lectures throughout British Columbia for the youth, and is the Founder of the Deen team youth initiative.
