Our Get-Ready Workshop might as well go as Eman Darwish's workshop.✨
From day 1, Eman Darwish has been laying the foundation for our participants' self-awareness, self-knowledge, and goal-setting.
By the end of the workshop, participants have mapped their Life Story Timelines—turning lived experience into demonstrable resilience and strength! They also identified their # Clifton-Strengths and clarified their goals and vision boards. Most importantly, Skillforce-Ready’s participants have learned to reframe troubling thoughts.
In total, Eman devoted more than 15 hours of in-action classroom delivery to help our participants achieve a positive mindset, not to mention the endless hours spent in planning, brainstorming, and curating content.
Eman's calm energy has been indispensable to the workshop’s success. She has placed extra care on guiding our Skillforce Ready champions from anxiety and confusion to clarity.
It's worth mentioning that Eman's deep connection with the Sudanese community and her understanding of the Sudanese situation made her the ideal captain for the challenging journey of our war-affected Sudanese heroes towards a positive mindset.
Participants connected with Eman openly because they sensed her inclusiveness, especially when she celebrated newly learned Sudanese words, as well as her silent, accepting, and non-judgmental presence. They sensed her genuineness in how she bravely shared true stories about her strengths and weaknesses.
One participant’s testimony tells it all about Eman's indispensable role, when she said, "As an introvert, my role model is to be like Eman Darwish. She didn't let her introversion stop her from speaking publicly and impacting us."
