Event Recap: The Inter-Level Debate - "Should Government Regulate Artificial Intelligence?"
The auditorium of Kassala International English School was electrified this week as our brilliant students from Grade 7 and Grade 9 engaged in a profound and timely debate on one of the most critical issues of our time: "Should Government Regulate Artificial Intelligence?"
The debate showcased the incredible research and oratory skills of our students. The Grade 7 team, arguing against government regulation, presented a spirited case. They championed innovation and freedom, arguing that strict rules would stifle creativity and slow down technological progress that could solve major world problems. They expressed valid concerns about bureaucracy hindering the potential benefits of AI in fields like medicine and education.
This memorable and intellectually stimulating event would not have been possible without the visionary leadership and dedicated efforts of several individuals who are committed to academic excellence at our school.
