Most people aren’t looking for “architecture.”
They’re looking for a home that feels comfortable, functional, welcoming, and easy to live in every day.

That’s where good design makes the difference.
At ADD.Locus Architects, we believe architecture should solve everyday problems quietly and beautifully.

Because the best homes don’t just look good.
They make everyday life easier.

Set in Tokyo, House AT is a refined four-storey private residence defined by space, light, and restraint.

Designed and supervised in collaboration with Space Menu Lab, the project explores large open voids and a minimalist approach, where light and shadow shape the living experience throughout.

Set in the beautiful hills of Mahé, this two-bedroom self-catering apartment blends smart design with relaxed island living.

ADD.Locus Architects delivered the full interior design for this project, including bespoke furniture, showcasing interior design as a core part of our expertise. High ceilings, a striking green marble kitchen island, layered textures, and mirrors enhance light, depth, and flow throughout.
A private pool and sun deck complete the experience.

Luminous Trading Showroom and Offices, completed in April 2026, stands in Providence as a study of light, movement and place.

Designed to house a lighting showroom, storage and offices, the building transforms function into experience. Its light spectrum façade is not revealed all at once, but shifts as you move around it, placing the experience in the hands of the observer.

Inspired by the colours of Seychelles, it reflects the sky and sea, the sun, the land, harmony and the people.

A building not only seen, but discovered.

We were deeply honoured to have our work recognised by leading international figures in architecture. Among them was Fumihiko Maki, Pritzker Prize laureate and one of the most influential voices in modern architecture, alongside Noriaki Okabe, internationally respected for major infrastructure projects, and Taro Ashihara, former President of the Japan Institute of Architects. Their acknowledgment remains a proud milestone for Add.Locus.

These esteemed architects were serving as jurors for the Kajima Prize SD Magazine Review 2000, an international architectural competition organised by SD, Space Design Magazine. Our project, House PTT at La Misere, was submitted that year and received the award, marking an important moment in our studio’s journey.

As Add.Locus looks ahead to Africa’s first Architecture Biennale, we’re reflecting on Seychelles’ first-ever contribution at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale back in 2016.

Presented under the title “Reporting from the Front”, the Seychelles Pavilion explored climate vulnerability, resilience, and architecture shaped by real environmental limits. We are proud to be leading Seychelles onto the global architectural stage and contributing to conversations that matter worldwide.

Why does the Biennale matter? Because Africa deserves space — to design, dream, build, imagine. Collectively. Boldly. For itself.

Shifting the Center – From Fragility to Resilience. Self-determination. Rooted knowledge. Radical imagination. Collective authorship. This is what the Pan-African Biennale stands for, and I am honored to lend my skill to the platform.
