To all students,
Please note that extended hours to stay on campus has been approved and will be effective as
of Monday 20 th April 2026. While this be much appreciated, students MUST be advised to
leave the campus after 10pm. You are encouraged, therefore, to plan your timing accordingly
as NO transportation will be available for drop off after 10pm.
Note: Further extension of opening hours will be introduced during STUDY BREAK.
USPSA -SI is looking forward to your cooperation and scholarly behaviour on this matter as
we continue working very hard to deliver what matters for our academic success.

Withdrawal Deadline: 30th March, 12 pm Solomon Time
Elections: Thursday 2nd April, 2026. 9 am – 4.30 pm (Election Day)
Polling/Voting: Voting will take place face-to-face at the KG Campus Only registered students are eligible to vote, and please provide your ID Cards.
Results: This will be announced immediately after the completion of the counting. Within 3 days, it shall be posted on the Campus Notice Boards as well as the student email and the official Solomon Islands Page.
Any questions or clarification as to this election shall be addressed to the Returning Officer, whose decision shall be final and binding. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further clarification.

NOTICE - UNIVERRSITY OF THE SOUTH PACFIC, SOLOMON ISLANDS CAMPUS GENERAL ELECTION
"Every current member of the student body is eligible to be a candidate for the General Election"
NOMINATION
Any person who is a member of the Association may with his or her consent be nominated as a
candidate for either the General Elections by other members in accordance with the rules in this
Constitution.
Every nomination shall be made in writing to the Returning Officer on or before a date to be fixed by him or her and shall be posted on the Association Notice Boards not less than seven (4 days before the date of the election).
No member may nominate more than one candidate
No member shall consent to more than one nomination as a candidate at any one election
Every nomination paper must bear the signature of the nominee to show his or her consent to being his/her nomination.
The Returning Officer shall reject the nomination of any candidate if:
a} The nomination paper is not lodged with him or her at the date and time fixed by the Returning Officer.
b} The nomination is not signed by the prerequisite persons (nominators and seconders) required for each type of election as set out in Articles 37; or
c}The nomination paper does not bear the signature of the nominee as required by section (5) of this Article.
Additionally, The Constitution has established Prohibition against various activities during the election period, to ensure fair and honest election.
In conclusion, no political party may in any fashion pretend to be an institution of the university to rally and nominate candidate for election, any involvement of such an illegal establishment is seriously prohibited.

On behalf of the Office of the President of USPSISA, we sincerely extend our heartfelt appreciation to Elder Mosese and the entire Mission team for their support and dedication in making the USPSISA 2026 Semester 1 Combined Opening Fellowship a meaningful and successful gathering. We also express our gratitude to the USPSI affiliation ASTA for facilitating and supporting this important fellowship. Your commitment, guidance, and willingness to serve have greatly contributed to bringing students together in unity, faith, and fellowship of this Academic semester. May God continue to bless and strengthen each one of you as you faithfully support and nurture the spiritual growth of the USPSISA Community from now and onwards.
