SABADO KO.
Kung Crim student ka, kabalo ka unsay meaning sa Saturday.
Para sa uban, weekend na. Time to rest, laag, matulog, or magpahuway after a long week.
Pero para nato, lahi.
Saturday means uniform, formation, heat, drills, attendance, commands, corrections, and another day of showing up. Usahay kapoy na daan before pa magsugod. Usahay ganahan na lang ka mouli. Pero once naa na sa formation, you just do what you came there to do.
Dili man always exciting ang pagka-Crim. There are days nga puro routine. Puro balik-balik. Puro sayop, correction, repeat.
Pero maybe mao pud na ang point.
Because somewhere between those Saturdays, you slowly learn how to stand properly, move with discipline, listen to commands, work with people, and most importantly—show up even when you don't feel like it.
Mao nang kung mangutana sila, “Unsa inyong buhaton every Saturday?”
Kay sa Crim, Saturday is part of the story.
And most of us have been living the same story.
