Ms Robson is an internationally minded educator with 24 years experience in teaching and leadership. She began her career working in England and Scotland before starting her international travels to incredible places such as The Sultanate of Oman, Egypt, The Netherlands and most recently in Spain. Ms Robson is a Certified Leadership and Organisational Coach, and holds a Masters degree and a PGCE, where she qualified from Nottingham University. Ms Robson has spent the last 8 years in Spain, where she ran her own bespoke educational business and most recently was Head of Primary & EYFS at St George Madrid.

She really enjoys pilates, swimming, reading, cooking, socialising with friends and a really good book. She has co-authored a book which is aimed at supporting teachers on how to use coaching skills in the classroom.

Ms Robson is very much looking forward to all the amazing new adventures she is going to have in Saudi Arabia and BISR is thrilled to be a part of this new chapter.

Having spent 3 years as a Deputy Head at BISR DQ and being part of the school's development and rapid growth, I was very proud to be appointed as the Head of Primary. I am really enjoying my new role and will ensure that our focus remains on learning environments that inspire, teaching and learning that is challenging as well as engaging and maintaining positive relationships between families and the school.

We are incredibly excited to have such a friendly face as our new Head of Primary and look forward to Ms Bradshaw steering the way for our primary students this academic year 🚢

The importance of educating our students and encouraging them to take part in numerous sustainability practices has always been one of BISR’s top priorities. We were thrilled to have His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Binsaeed, The CEO of the Grace Preservation Foundation, deliver an eye-opening and insightful speech to our students. He spoke about the Kingdom’s dedication to reducing waste and recycling, as well as the steps, large and small, that are being implemented in the Kingdom to achieve these goals. Eng. Abdullah Binsaeed strongly believes that the future lies in the hands of our students; thus, increasing the awareness and community participation of our students is of utmost importance.

We had the pleasure of hosting His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Binsaeed, the CEO of the Grace Preservation Foundation at Al Hamra Campus. Eng. Abdullah Binsaeed met with our Director of Schools, Ms Helen Olds, and our Senior Leadership team, to discuss the Foundation and its importance in preserving grace, reducing waste, and ways to enhance cooperation in relation to the cause. BISR looks forward to future collaborations and encouraging further practices within our school to enhance our sustainability.

It was an absolute pleasure welcoming the HMC accreditation team to our Al Hamra and DQ campuses this week.

As BISR continues to grow, Mrs. Power takes on the position of Principal of the DQ campus for the 2023/24 academic year.

Onboarding Day welcomes new BISR parents and students to their respective campuses and gives them a chance to familiarise themselves with the school, their classroom and some of their peers. Parents get a chance to meet their chirdren's teachers as well as other staff members, and are able to ask our different deparments any queries they may have. It's a perfect opportunity to settle those nerves and prepare for the first day of school! 🏫

During our inset weeks, BISR ensures all staff, current and new, are fully prepared and informed to provide our students with the support they need. Our sessions this past week covered topics relating to our pillars: learning, enrichment, and well-being, as well as sessions discussing safeguarding and learning support.

We look forward to the new academic year and hope all staff, students and parents have a terrific start!
