Commemorating Pakistan Day
Great nations honour and celebrate their significant national events, and 23rd March holds special importance in our history. Students at PISES-SGW commemorated Pakistan Day, a historic occasion marking the 1940 resolution in which Muslims of the subcontinent envisioned a separate homeland.
Students proudly wore Pakistanโs traditional attire, while the school lobby was beautifully decorated, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The event commenced with a soulful recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by its translation. This was succeeded by engaging speeches in both Urdu and English, highlighting the history, culture, and significance of Pakistan. Furthermore, lively and enthusiastic performances by students of Grades 6 and 7 captivated the audience and added colour to the program.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a deep sense of patriotism, devotion, and pride for their country.
Long Live Pakistan!
