This week I had the opportunity to provide a workshop for our MLS teachers, where we explored the power of play in professional learning.
Teachers stepped into the role of learners, experimenting with a variety of educational games and tech tools from QR codes and Genially, to Kahoot, AI for learning, ChatterPix, and OctoStudio.
One of the most exciting parts was watching teachers try out games designed for other subjects and then brainstorm new ideas on how they could use these tech tools in their own classrooms. This sparked rich conversations, innovative ideas, and a lot of laughter.
The room was filled with collaboration, creativity, and a willingness to think outside the box, a true reminder of how powerful it is when educators learn with and from each other.
Innovation in education starts with curiosity and play! ✨
Grateful to be part of these moments as an Innovation Team member and EdTech specialist.
