Al Alia International Indian School, Riyadh (AAIISR), observed Environment Day on 8th June 2026 with a special assembly for Grades I and II, conducted by Class II E under the guidance of Ms. Rahana Nazrudheen.
The assembly highlighted the importance of environmental conservation through a delightful musical skit presented by the boys of Class II E, an informative video on Environment Day, and inspiring speeches delivered by Ms. Rahana Nazrudheen and Academic Coordinator Ms. Rizwana Shaikh.
The gathering was further enriched by motivating addresses from the Principal, Mrs. Kavitha Latha Kadhiresan, and the Supervisor, who encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly practices and become responsible caretakers of our planet. 🌱♻️

On June 7, 2026, Al Alia International Indian School observed World Environment Day by organizing two thematic enrichment initiatives designed to promote sustainability, creative expression, and ecological awareness. For Grades VI to VIII, a classroom-based 'No Fire Cooking' activity allowed students to independently prepare and decorate nutritious, sustainable dishes using raw, pre-cut ingredients while strictly adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. Simultaneously, senior students from Grades IX to XII participated in a structured 'Blog Writing' session on the topic "Protect Nature Today for a Better Tomorrow," drafting real-time digital posts that challenged them to think critically about contemporary ecological responsibilities, sustainable living, and the urgent global imperative to conserve resources for future generations.

A formal morning assembly was organized by the students of Class VIII C on June 7, 2026, to observe World Environment Day and promote environmental awareness. The program featured an impactful video presentation highlighting global ecological challenges, followed by a thematic dance performance advocating for the preservation of Mother Earth. A key highlight of the event was the announcement of the results and the distribution of certificates for the "My Mom's Story" competition, recognizing student achievements. The assembly concluded with an inspiring address by the Academic Supervisor, Mrs. Shalini Nainan, who commended the students' efforts and emphasized the collective responsibility of the school community toward environmental sustainability.

World Environment Day 2026 – Inspiring Young Minds for a Sustainable Future🌱
In observance of World Environment Day, our school organized a series of engaging and educational activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness, creativity, and responsible living among students.
🥗 No Fire Cooking (Grades VI–VIII)
Students enthusiastically participated in a No Fire Cooking Activity, preparing nutritious and sustainable dishes using pre-prepared ingredients. The activity encouraged healthy eating habits, creativity, hygiene and an understanding of the importance of eco-friendly food choices. It also highlighted how simple, sustainable practices can contribute to a healthier planet.
✍️ Blog Writing (Grades IX–XII)
Senior students showcased their creativity and critical thinking through a Blog Writing based on various environmental themes. Their thoughtful reflections and innovative ideas demonstrated a deep awareness of contemporary environmental challenges and the importance of collective action in protecting our natural resources.
Through these activities, students gained valuable insights into environmental stewardship and the role they can play in building a greener and more sustainable future.

Seasonal Day & Frugitables Day Celebration🍏🫑
On 7th June 2026, the tiny tots of Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG at AAIISR, joyfully celebrated Seasonal Day and Frugitables Day as part of the Environment Day festivities.
Dressed in colourful seasonal-themed costumes representing summer, rainy, winter, and spring seasons, the students showcased their creativity and understanding of nature. As part of the Frugitables Day activity, the children took part in a fun Salad Making Activity, learning the importance of healthy eating habits while enjoying a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
The celebration became even more special when the Principal visited the young learners, spent quality time with them, interacted warmly with the children, and appreciated their active participation.

“Together, we can make a difference for our planet.”
A special assembly was conducted on 7 June 2026 at Al Alia International Indian School by Section 3–5 Boys to observe World Environment Day. The programme aimed to instil environmental awareness among students and encourage them to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives emphasizing the importance of protecting natural resources for future generations. Students also brought saplings and plants adding beauty to the celebration and reinforcing the message of caring for nature.
The programme included speeches a song a dance a PPT and a video presentation all highlighting the importance of protecting the environment.
All the performances were excellent and presented with great enthusiasm by the young students of Class 5G who conducted the assembly under the guidance of their Class Teacher Mrs. Najiya making it a well-coordinated and impressive presentation.

My Green Earth 🌏🌱
Students of Grades I to V at Al Alia International Indian School, Riyadh, enthusiastically participated in a Collage Making Activity themed “My Green Earth” held on 7th June 2026.
The activity aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation and encourage students to express their creativity using recycled materials. The young participants used old magazines, newspapers, dried leaves, and coloured paper bits to create attractive collages depicting elements of land, water, sky, and greenery. Through their creations, the students showcased remarkable imagination and artistic skills while conveying important messages about protecting our planet.
