Dear Parents, Assalam u Alaikum, We will not be able to open the school immediately after the holidays as we are uncertain how long the official paperwork will take to complete. Nevertheless, we are continuing our efforts to re-open as soon as possible InshaAllah, and have no plans to close the school. Regret the inconvenience and wish your children the best! With respect to re-opening, the paper work is under processing in Amanah's technical office. The future tasks and subsequent re-opening is dependent on the completion of the current task. We're sorry we're unable to share with you any re-opening date yet. Some of you have asked if the ongoing task will progress given that schools have closed for summer vacation. The answer is yes. Although some tasks are getting delayed due to vacation time, the efforts are on. We are extremely sorry that despite the passage of 3 months we have not been able to provide certainity of re-opening. At this time, we are just able to keep you inform about the progress.

Assalam u alaikum,

We are in the process of fulfilling Civil Defense paper work, but the paper work is taking some time. As informed earlier the inspection was conducted last week and we were informed about the missing paper work on account of new regulations. We will come to know about the next update on Monday, InshaAllah.

We realize we have been in "last mile" situations before and shared such status with parents. However, despite the optimism, so far the school has not re-opened. Nevertheless we have to keep you updated on the progress. We inform you whenever we sight a sliverlining.

Most parents have been extremely supportive during this period which is something that has helped us to sustain our efforts. We can't thank them enough.

Perhaps this is not exactly encouraging for all of us who are earnestly awaiting the approval. The Civil Defence office asked us to get the site drawings stamped from the Civil Defense section in the Amanah office. This adds another 2 days to the process. We wish these requirements are specified to us at the same time, but these have been stated sequentially. We are expecting to complete this task by tommorrow and approach the Civil Defence authority on Wed, or tomorrow if possible.

We have been receiving parent queries who feel the wait is getting out of control and some feel we are hiding something.

The fact is that the school is very transparent in reporting the status of the issues. We have put before you the main problem and kept you informed about the measures being taken to re-open the school. In the beginning we tried to get a temporary approval, but we were not successful. Although we continued our efforts in this direction, we were progressing on the steps to get a permanent solution. About 4 weeks back, the case in Amanah was discussed, and it came as a relief, Alhamdulillah, that our re-opening will not be for a short period. Since then the progress has been shared with parents at regular intervals. Please note that we mentioned about our confidence only after we got the good news from Amanah. Until that time we couldn't even tell parents how this is going to go forward.

We make sure we highlight the status of the school- closed for two months now- in every Govt office, but we have to respect the process and the time that is consumed by the tasks.

We are doing what it takes to re-open the school, but the process is taking time and given the nature of the tasks involving Govt offices, each tasks takes atleast a day or two.

InshaAllah, we hope we're able to open soonest.
