Why Is the World Silent on This Hijab Ban? 🤐
Why is no one talking about this? 🤐👇
In a country where over 90% of the population is culturally Muslim, women and young girls are being forced to choose between their faith and their education.
We are seeing heartbreaking scenes on social media: young schoolgirls being turned away from classrooms, and dedicated teachers forced to stop mid-lesson and go home—simply for wearing a hijab.
This is happening right now in Azerbaijan.
While world leaders constantly champion "women’s rights" and "access to education," the international community and Western nations remain eerily quiet. Why the silence?
Because geopolitics and global interests often overshadow basic human rights. Azerbaijan—alongside Kazakhstan—supplies roughly 60% of Israel’s oil. In return, it imports advanced weaponry used in regional conflicts. Positioned strategically on the border of Iran, it serves as a crucial ally in global power games.
When political and trade alliances are at stake, the rights of little girls trying to get an education and women trying to earn an honest living suddenly take a backseat.
Freedom of choice should apply everywhere—not just when it fits a specific political agenda. Protecting a woman’s right to learn and work should never depend on whether she chooses to cover her head.
