This is one of the questions I am asked most often! I think people somehow think I’ve discovered some secret to “doing it all”! 🙂 Yes, I do juggle multiple things, but I can I assure you I don’t have it all figured out.

I’m not superwoman. I struggle. I sometimes feel frazzled and frustrated. So please keep this in mind. We’re all learning, growing, and making mistakes in life. All of us have strengths and weaknesses.

Alhamdulilah over time, I have discovered different tricks and tactics that help me be able to juggle more and have more of a healthy balance and I’ll happily share them with you in hopes that might inspire you. But remember that I’m often a hot mess and if you dropped by our home unexpectedly (or even expectedly!) on some days, you’d know this is definitely the truth! Ok here we go: 1 - be organised
2- say ‘no’ when necessary
3- priorities your life
4- get help!!

Most importantly enjoy your time away! Alhamdulilah we will be leaving next Sunday (It could be the first day of Ramadan) in shaa Allah, so I’ll be very busy this week organising, planning, packing and cleaning 🧹 in shaa Allah.

What are you planning to focus on this Ramadan? For us it will be the Quran, and the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad 🌙❤️

Small - start small! Remind yourself that great victory starts from small beginnings and that includes your homeschooling. Start from one thing you all enjoy doing together then build to more, first build that routine and that connection.

Conceptual learning - in order to achieve quality and love for learning practicing conceptual learning in your homeschooling is vital. Let's admit there's a big difference between rushing through each subject and doing conceptual learning 💡This deep learning focuses on making sense of facts instead of just stating them. It nurtures the child's interest and gives rise to innovation, creativity and better productivity. 💪👌 It also empowers children and creates love for learning and independence.

Consistency - In everything we want to succeed on consistency is the key 🔑

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Take up good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done consistently even if they are few.”
