when it comes to writing ( mostly in the informal descriptive writing ) you have to remember to show
Example: He was nervous 😟
is it mentioned how nervous he is? Is it mentioned that sweat filled the face? NO! Ergo, definitely this example is telling not showing
So instead, we can say : his heartbeats were louder than the marching drums, all I could hear was his heartbeats which broke the silence of the place, he almost forgot the lines when he was on stage , .......
