The Director General Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith Barr.Tahir Umar Tahir received delagation from members of Majlisu Madarisi Tahfizil Qur'anil Kareem (MTQ) led by Ameer Suleiman Aliyu Abdullahi, at his offce Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna.

The purpose of the visit is to foster mutual understanding and explore areas of possible collaboration, particularly in promoting peaceful coexistence within the communities.

Notably, MTQ is an Islamic educational organisation that was established in June 2006 at Kaduna North Local Government of Kaduna State. With the aim of promoting the memorization (Tahfiz), recitation, and proper understanding of the Noble Qur'an.

In essence, this organisation emerged from the collective efforts of Islamic Scholars, Our'anic Teachers and Community Leaders who recognised the need to standardised and strengthen Qur'anic memorization schools (Madaris Tahfiz) within the community and beyond.

However, this organisation is facing challenges with insufficient and financial constraints, inadequate learning facilities, and infrastructure. welfare challenge for students, among others.

In view thereof, the organisation appeals to the government for support and intervention in order to achieve it future objectives.

In his response the DG appreciate their visit and recommended their initiative as a welcome development, he disclossed to them that Governor Uba San's administration is planning for special ntervention to such initiatives where every schools will receive teaching materials and equipment that will enhance teaching standard.

In the end, he assured them that the government door is always open for any assistance and inquiries regarding iisues like this.
