20th Ramadan – Fatah Makkah

On this day in 8 AH, the Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah with 10,000 companions.

The same city that once persecuted Muslims witnessed one of the greatest acts of forgiveness in history.

Instead of revenge, the Prophet ﷺ declared:

“No blame will there be upon you today. Go, for you are all free.”

This moment fulfilled Allah’s promise of victory and opened the doors for people to enter Islam in large numbers.
