A word from SSRC President
Dear my colleagues,
First of all, I would like to congratulate all of you for significant advancement in our profession since SSRC establishment. These achievements include but not limited to ministry of civil services recognition, introducing RC services to ministry of health, classification of RC subspecialties by SCFHS, and signed agreement between SSRC and NBRC. Others still in progress such as RC fellowship program and unified job description.
SSRC is highly motivated to continue accomplishing all its targets and support all efforts aiming to improve and advance RC profession. More importantly, SSRC hands are open for collaboration with individuals or organizations to make significant changes in RC services.

SSRC Goals
1. Develop scientific thoughts in the area of specialization and work on the development and revitalization of the profession.

2. Encourage and support scientific communication among society members.

3. Provide scientific advice and consultation in the area of specialization.

4. Facilitate the exchange of scientific research and scientific idea in the area of Respiratory Care between concerned institutions within and outside Saudi Arabia.

5. Support newly started respiratory care departments and provide them with Policy and Procedures.

6. Support respiratory care department in each region with educational activities and workshop to raise the quality of respiratory profession.

7. Participate in research and relate research which has a great impact in improving the evidence of clinical practice.
