Welcome back to 2nd semester!
We’re glad to see all our faculty members and hope everyone enjoyed their mid-semester break! Classes have resumed and our English clubs have been launched!
Due to the geographical location of Saudi Arabia, many of our teachers enjoy their breaks, both in the Kingdom and abroad. Currently, our staff members have three (3) breaks per year, plus a summer vacation. This is one of the really good things about working here….the travel opportunities!
Those who decide to vacation in the Kingdom may want to visit and explore other cities (like Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Medinah, Abha, Khobar, etc.).
Likewise, there are many teachers who like to travel overseas during their breaks. The great news is Saudi Arabia has very affordable air ticket prices. Also, Jazan’s new International Airport recently opened.
Following are some international destinations where our colleagues have travelled to:
United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Qatar, United Kingdom, Canada, Austria, Thailand, Hungary, Morocco, India, Kenya, Turkey, Egypt, Sri Lanka and France.

Meghalaya (India)– the ‘abode of clouds’ – is a cool, pine-fresh mountain state set on dramatic horseshoes of rocky cliffs. It is also called the Scotland of the North East. Cherrapunjee and Mawsynram are statistically amongst the wettest places on earth; most of the rain falls between June and September, creating very impressive waterfalls and carving out some of Asia’s longest caves.
