The 20th IsDB Global Forum on Islamic Finance is scheduled to take place on the sidelines of the 2026 IsDB Group Annual Meetings in Baku, Azerbaijan.

This year's Forum will focus on the role of Islamic finance in fostering regional integration and sustainable prosperity among member countries.

يسرنا أن نعلن عن آخر مستجدات جائزة البنك الإسلامي للتنمية للإنجاز الفعال في الاقتصاد الإسلامي لعام 2026م:

تغيير دورية منح الجائزة لتصبح كل عامين، بدلاً من كل عام، بالتناوب بين فئتي الإسهامات المعرفية والإنجازات التنموية.
تنطلق الدورة القادمة من الجائزة عام 2027 (فئة الإنجازات التنموية)، وتتمحور حول تقدير ومكافأة المشاريع المؤثرة التي تقدم حلولاً فعالة لمعالجة أبرز التحديات التنموية التي تواجهها الدول الأعضاء في البنك الإسلامي للتنمية.
حجب الجائزة لعام 2026 (فئة الإسهامات المعرفية). وقد صدر قرار الحجب في أعقاب عملية تقييم دقيقة وشاملة خضعت لها الترشيحات التي تلقتها لجنة الفرز والمراجعون الخارجيون.

The IsDB Group Annual Meetings 2026 will bring together Governors, ministers, development leaders, financial experts, and partners to address shared development challenges, advance regional connectivity, and promote sustainable & inclusive growth across member countries.

From 16–19 June 2026, Baku will host a global platform for dialogue, cooperation and partnership, reinforcing the importance of collective action in an increasingly interconnected world

We are pleased to share some important updates regarding the IsDB Prize for Impactful Achievement in Islamic Economics:

🔹 The Prize will now be awarded biennially, alternating between the Knowledge Contribution and Development Solutions categories.

🔹 The next cycle of the Prize will be launched in 2027 under the Development Solutions Achievement category, with a focus on recognizing impactful projects that deliver effective solutions to key development challenges across IsDB Member Countries.

🔹 The 2026 Prize (Knowledge Contribution) has been withheld. This decision was reached following a thorough and rigorous evaluation of nominations by the Screening Committee and external referees.
