Planting partnership for greener tomorrow, SDG-17 in Action

Habitat Conservation Society, Govt. Associate College for Women, Ayub Research, Faisalabad proudly carried out another step towards *UN Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals today!

In collaboration with the Habitat Conservation Society of GC University, Faisalabad, we organized a Plantation Drive at the Botanic Garden, GCU on April 14, 2026.

Highlights of the Day:
✅ 100+ palm, jasmine & fruit-bearing plants planted by students and faculty
✅ Awareness session on climate action & the role of trees in urban ecosystems
✅ A walk & Oath-taking ceremony: “Every plant, A promise for tomorrow”
✅ Strong student participation with posters & interactive discussions

SDG 17 reminds us that real change happens through partnerships. This joint initiative between two educational institutions proves that when we work together, we grow together – literally and socially.

This plantation drive is just one of many activities our society conducts to align with the SDGs. Let’s keep the momentum going because every plant is a promise for tomorrow.
