A large-scale poverty alleviation and heritage reclamation pilot project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Systemic, respectful, revolutionary change.

We start from the ground up, partner with communities in need to form self-directed cooperatives that provide income, education and local entrepreneurship. Oh, and we're turning the deserts of Saudi Arabia into the Garden of Eden along the way.

A clip of when we built Project Headquarters in Al Baydha. Designed by NYC-based Goshow Architects to be built by bedou with no previous construction experience, we had two GC's who oversaw work, trained the men, translated instructions, and helped with the supply-chain. Many thanks to Mohammed Shukri and Ken Merritt who came to oversee the introduction of this Quadlock building system to Al Baydha, and to Silvio Saadé Haitham Khoja Pete Anderson and Alison Byrne for documenting and archiving the process.
