letter "c"
If it is followed by E, I, or Y, it is pronounced (S), like the letter S: Examples: City /Ice

- But if there is a vowel after the letter C, it can be pronounced like a shin: Examples: ocean

Note: The vowels are: (a - e - i - o- u)

the letter C if it is followed by any other letter other than the one previously mentioned. It is pronounced (K), . like the letter K: Examples: car - cat -Cold
