Why do we study Arabic?

لِمَاذَا نَدْرُسُ اللُّغَةَ العَرَبِيَّةَ؟

1. Because it is the Language of Allah
Arabic is the language of the Quran. Allah chose Arabic to speak to us. When you learn Arabic, you hear Allah's words directly, without translation. Every letter you read is hasanah — 10 rewards!

لُغَةُ القُرْآنِ، لُغَةُ أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ

2. Because it is the Key to Salah
We pray in Arabic. When you understand what you say in Salah —
_Subhana Rabbi, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar_
— your heart comes alive. Prayer is no longer just movements, it becomes a conversation with Allah.

3. Because it connects you to your Identity
You are Muslim
— Arabic is your history, your Prophet's ﷺ language, the language of Sahaba, of scholars. Learning it is coming home.

4. Because it makes you Strong
Arabic makes your mind strong, your memory sharp, your tongue eloquent. The Prophet ﷺ said: _"Learn Arabic and teach it to people."

5. Because it is Beautiful
One Arabic word has an ocean of meanings. It is the most beautiful, deep, and powerful language in the world. Once you taste it, you will love it.

أَتَعَلَّمُ العَرَبِيَّةَ لِأَفْهَمَ كَلَامَ رَبِّي

I learn Arabic to understand the words of my Lord
