Alhamdullah, I am pleased to be invited to speak in the Radiation Protection Conference & Workshop 2023 will be held on 28 – 31 August 2023 at Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. With the theme “Advancing Radiation Protection for Safety Culture”, the conference focuses on the strategic issues of ionizing radiation especially in radiation safety in relation to the safety management, future direction and practice, legislative requirements, optimising the use of ionizing radiation, ways to promote safety culture, new learning paradigm and enhancing product quality and productivity.

This event is jointly organized by Malaysian Radiation Protection Association (MARPA) and Malaysian Nuclear Agency (Nuklear Malaysia). The conference is held to address issues of interest of targeted participants such as Radiation Protection Officer (RPO), Person responsibility to the license (OBTL), Radiation supervisor or workers and all interested. A total of 19 papers comprising 1 theme speech, 3 keynote addresses and 15 papers are scheduled to be presented at this conference followed by workshop and forum.
