Middle School Information Day welcomed elementary students, families and teachers together for an afternoon centered on connection, curiosity and student leadership. π
As students prepare for the transition into middle school, the event created a welcoming space for families to learn more about daily life, academics and student experiences directly from middle school students themselves. π
Student leaders guided subject stations and shared personal experiences across English, Arabic, KSA history and geography, mathematics, science, STEAM, ancient civilizations, art, band and physical education. Through open conversations and thoughtful questions, younger students began to picture themselves in these learning spaces with greater confidence.
Families also had the opportunity to connect with teachers and learn more about the support available during the middle school years. Conversations throughout the afternoon helped ease uncertainty around changing classes and adjusting to a new routine, creating a stronger sense of familiarity before the transition even begins.
A band performance added another meaningful layer to the event as middle school students demonstrated songs they had learned and proudly performed on instruments that many of them had only started learning earlier this school year. πΆ
Students also shared how middle school gives them opportunities to explore both art and band before deciding which path they would like to continue, helping them discover new interests and talents along the way. π¨
