Happy Sunday, friends.
Today, I would like to remind you to pray for thousands of children and young people around the world who are suffering.
Some have been abandoned by their parents, some are orphans, and others have left their families because of poverty, family conflicts, abuse, rejection, or hopelessness. Many of these children are wounded in their hearts. Some have been affected by drug addiction, some are sick, some are hungry, and many are living without protection, love, guidance, or hope.
As we do discipleship and serve the Lord, it is important to think about this young generation that has been abandoned in many ways. Discipleship is not only teaching the Word of God; it is also loving, guiding, restoring, and helping those who are broken to find their way back to God, family, and purpose.
The Bible reminds us in James 1:27:
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…”
Let us pray for these children globally, that God may protect them, heal their hearts, deliver them from drugs and harmful lifestyles, provide for their needs, and bring them back to safe families, loving communities, and a future full of hope.
May God give us compassionate hearts not only to pray for them, but also to help them, love them, disciple them, and become part of their healing and restoration.
Happy Sunday, and may God bless you all.
