It´s the time of the year where the year 4 and 5 students are doing their internships. While some students are spending their time educating themselves practically at other places, others are busy at Hanika AIP.

As the new academic year for the polytechic is starting soon, we want to view back on last year´s graduation ceremony, which was full of creative acts and inspiring speeches, and wish our students a very successful year.

On the occasion of heroes´ day, our students battled our teachers in an exciting volleyball match!

On Heroes´Day, the 1st of February, the staff of HAnika AIP came together to have a celebration as well as to exchange some gifts. this was a possibility for us to connect apart from work and have fun conversations!

In partnership with St Joseph Integrated Technical College, the Hanika AIP students of the Civil Engineering Department visited SJEC from 7th to 10th of December, in order to enhance their knowledge and skills. The aim of the trip was to provide the students with the opportunity to learn more about geotechnical investigation, concrete, and steel bars activities.

On their study trip on 7th and 8th of December, the ICT students from our advanced Level visited the Rwanda Media Commission as well as Pixel Inc. Ltd.. At the RMC, Hanika AIP students had the opportunity to increase knowledge and skills about network infrastructures such as SERVERS, Switches and Routers, Encoders and Decoders and UPS. The RMC explained more about configuration, recording data by using software, encoding and decoding and mixing the news from its customers and then remoting the data. Moreover, at Pixel Inc. Ltd. the students could strengthen their knowledge about Software development, Website design, Website hosting and IT Consultancy.

On the occasion of volunteer´s day, which took place on December 5th, a representative of the District visited our school last Friday to promote volunteerism and motivate the students to consider volunteer work after school.

Over the course of two months our school´s farm has visibly changed. New crops are growing and new plants can be harvested.

On Sunday, Linda and her team from World mission TVET school visited Hanika AIP. In order to help young people and the staff members get the bible, they gave a hundred kinyarwandan bibles to our school.
