In partnership with St Joseph Integrated Technical College, the Hanika AIP students of the Civil Engineering Department visited SJEC from 7th to 10th of December, in order to enhance their knowledge and skills. The aim of the trip was to provide the students with the opportunity to learn more about geotechnical investigation, concrete, and steel bars activities.

On their study trip on 7th and 8th of December, the ICT students from our advanced Level visited the Rwanda Media Commission as well as Pixel Inc. Ltd.. At the RMC, Hanika AIP students had the opportunity to increase knowledge and skills about network infrastructures such as SERVERS, Switches and Routers, Encoders and Decoders and UPS. The RMC explained more about configuration, recording data by using software, encoding and decoding and mixing the news from its customers and then remoting the data. Moreover, at Pixel Inc. Ltd. the students could strengthen their knowledge about Software development, Website design, Website hosting and IT Consultancy.

On the occasion of volunteer´s day, which took place on December 5th, a representative of the District visited our school last Friday to promote volunteerism and motivate the students to consider volunteer work after school.
