Two EAUR students are off to Wrocław, Poland 🇵🇱 for a 4-month academic mobility programme on Digitalization of Logistics under the EU-supported Project.

The programme focuses on Digitalization of Logistics, giving students valuable international learning & practical experience.

More than 36 students and lecturers are expected to benefit from the DIGILOG programme over 3 years through mobility opportunities in Poland & Slovakia.

🦒🌿 Learning in the wild!

Students from the Department of Leisure, Tourism & Hotel Management at Kigali Campus visited
Akagera National Park for an educational field study, exploring wildlife tourism, biodiversity conservation, and protected area management.

The visit gave students practical exposure to safari operations, sustainable tourism, visitor experience, and conservation practices, bridging classroom learning with Rwanda's thriving tourism industry.

In June 2026, EAUR's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Callixte Kabera, and Director of Research, Consultancy and Innovation, Dr. Gamariel Mbonimana, represented the University at the 14th CIMPAD International Conference in Luanda, Angola.

Dr. Mbonimana presented a research paper on equitable leadership development through youth and women entrepreneurship in Rwanda, highlighting the impact of the CIMPAD Youth and Women Entrepreneurship Initiative.

The initiative, launched after EAUR hosted the 2024 CIMPAD Conference in Kigali, continues to empower young people, including supporting EAUR Film students.
