As we celebrated South Sudan’s Independence Day, commemorating the 9th of July and celebrated on the 11th, NCAR was honored to be part of this special occasion by proudly showcasing one of the many beautiful cultures that make our nation unique.

Happy 15th Independence Anniversary, South Sudan.🇸🇸
On this special day, the Nuer Community Association in Rwanda (NCAR), under the leadership of our President, Mr. Chuol Lam Diew, extends heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all South Sudanese people at home and in the diaspora.

As we celebrate 15 years of independence, we honor the sacrifices of our heroes and heroines who fought for our freedom and nationhood. May this anniversary inspire us to continue working together for peace, unity, reconciliation, and prosperity.

The Nuer Community Association in Rwanda (NCAR) extends its sincere appreciation to Africa World Books Ltd, the South Sudanese Students Association in Rwanda (SSSAR), the author Mr. Peter Obadayo Tingwa, the guest authors, organizers, and everyone who contributed to the successful launch of “Ezboni Mondiri Gwonza: The South Sudanese Nationalist and Politician.”

This remarkable event celebrated South Sudanese history, literature, culture, and intellectual excellence. It served as a reminder that preserving our stories through books and education is essential for inspiring present and future generations.

As NCAR, we encourage our members, especially the youth and students, to continue embracing education, reading, writing, and active participation in cultural and academic initiatives.
