We are delighted to invite you to artist Weya Viatora’s musical reading „Nkazi“, accompanied by musician Esther Niyifasha.
The project is one of ten chosen projects that were produced through our annual grant for artistic production.
“Nkazi” follows the powerful journey of a fierce mother, fighting for her son’s justice. She echoes the legacies of Rwandan “Sheroes”. With Robwa’s courage, Agatha’s boldness or Nyirarumaga’s wisdom, she becomes a modern icon. Join us for an evening full of music, legacies of “Rwandan Sheroes” and storytelling!
We look forward to seeing you there

On March 23, 2026, we have the honour of welcoming the Sudanese photographer Ammar Yassir and celebrating the opening of his exhibition “I Will Never Find Home”
This long-term photo project traces Ammar’s personal journey of displacement following the outbreak of war in Sudan in 2023. Moving through the cities he has passed, the work reflects an ongoing search for a sense of home that remains just out of reach.
The project brings together the emotions of family members, the expressions of friends and fellow refugees, and Ammar’s own lived experience. Through experimentation with different media, he explores the feeling of losing home, the uncertainty of not finding it again, and the continuing search for a new place to belong.
We look forward to seeing you there!
