The University of Rwanda (UR), is pleased
to announce that it will hold a Graduation
and Prize awarding Ceremony on Saturday
10 th December 2016 at KIGALI
CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION VILLAGE
(former Camp Kigali) on Nyarugenge
Campus from 7:00 am . Graduating students
are requested to note the following;
1. Graduation gowns will be distributed from
Thursday 8th - Friday9 th December 2016 .
Gowns for Undergraduate, Postgraduate
Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate
students of all Colleges will be distributed
from College of Education, Remera campus.
Masters and PhD gowns are distributed at
CST, Nyarugenge Campus. Please contact the
respective College Registrars' office for any
queries. To receive a gown, graduands are
required to present a copy of a dully signed
clearance form and a receipt of 10,000
FRW, paid at the respective College bank
accounts in Bank of Kigali.

2. Gowns must be returned to the University
not later than Thursday 15th December
2016 .
3. Failure to return the gown on 15th
December 2016 will lead to a fine of 30,000
frw. The University reserves the right to
withhold the Degree certificate in cases of
nonpayment of the fine.
4. Each graduand will be allowed to bring
two guests. ACCESS CARDS with detailed
programme will be issued with the gowns.
