Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy, Currently Ural State Economic University (USUE-SINE) was established in 1858 year. Currently, USUE-SINE is a major center for education and science in Russia, a basic, multidisciplinary economy university in the Ural region, where 24,000 students study. USUE was founded in 1967 as the Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy (SINE) on the basis of Economics for the Faculty of the Ural State University named after A. Gorky and for the Sverdlovsk branch of the Moscow Institute of National Economy (currently - Russian Economic Academy. At the moment, the university is a basic economic educational institution in the Urals, with 24 thousand students. It prepares the economic elite not only for the Ural region but throughout Russia. USUE is the only specialized economic university in the Urals, and is one of the best economic universities in Russia. The organizing committee reports 🇬🇧

Registration for the XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum began on December 17. During this time, about 6 thousand people have applied for participation, of which 13 are diplomats, 30 are rectors and vice-rectors, and over 200 are experts.

At the moment, the rectors and vice-rectors of Togliatti State University, Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V.P. Astafyev, Donetsk National Technical University, Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture have confirmed their participation in the XV anniversary EEYF. Also, 8 ambassadors from Colombia, Uruguay, Mali, Sudan and Bolivia will participate in the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum.

"Eurasian Synergy: Multipolarity - Integration - Dialogue of Civilizations" - this is the theme of the XV EEYF, which will be held on April 21-25, 2025 in Yekaterinburg. Registration is available on the main page of the forum. Applications for participation will be accepted until March 20.

Wrestle while you're young!

USUE gathered more than 120 athletes from 10 universities of the Sverdlovsk region for the V Regional SAMBO competitions dedicated to the memory of the Master of Sports of the USSR Pyotr Gerasimovich Ryskin.

USUE is represented by 8 sambo wrestlers, among them 4th year student Varuzhan Sargsyan. Four years ago, the athlete received the title of Master of sports of Russia in sambo. He has already won four matches in the tournament today, with two more to come.

The Pyotr Ryskin Memorial Tournament was established and is actively supported by the USUE, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports and the SAMBO Federation of the Sverdlovsk Region.

جمعت جامعة الأورال الحكومية للاقتصاد أكثر من 120 رياضيًا من 10 جامعات في منطقة سفيردلوفسك لمسابقات السامبو الإقليمية الخامسة المخصصة لذكرى أستاذ الرياضة في اتحاد الجمهوريات الاشتراكية السوفياتية بيوتر جيراسيموفيتش ريسكين.

Preparations for the XV EEYF have begun

The dates of the XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum have been announced. The anniversary EEYF will be held from April 21 to 25, 2025.

The XIV EYFM became the largest for the entire duration of the forum. In 2024, more than 17,000 people from 114 countries and 81 regions of Russia took part in it.

No defeats!

The final round of the group "B" of the Russian Railways Student Basketball League among women's teams has ended in Tyumen. For the first time in the history of the university, the USUE national team defeated all rivals and takes first place in the team competition.

The Russian Railways Student League is the elite women's division of the Student Basketball Association. In the 2024/2025 season, 18 women's teams will compete for the title of champion in the Russian Railways Student League.

Stand - grab - throw!

The V Regional SAMBO competitions among university students dedicated to the memory of the Master of Sports of the USSR Pyotr Gerasimov Ryskin were held at USUE. In total, more than 120 athletes from ten universities of the Sverdlovsk region took part in them.

8 sambo wrestlers represented the Ural State University of Economics. They had six meetings with rivals.

The USUE men's team took 6-th place, the women's team — 5-th in the team competition.

The closing ceremony of the traditional career guidance event "Autumn camp of high School students" took place at the USUE. 114 schoolchildren from 4 regions of Russia got acquainted with the university, students, teachers and attended useful practice-oriented classes that help determine their future profession.

Schoolchildren from Kurgan, Chernushka (Perm Krai), Nefteyugansk, Priobye (KhMAO), Neryungri (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) were divided into 9 detachments. For 4 days, the students participated in master classes and, like real students, listened to lectures by USUE teachers on a variety of topics: from economics and law to biotechnology and marketing.

A delegation from Neryungri (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in national costumes performed a dance with fuel oil (a belt lasso for nomadic reindeer herders of the Far North).

The triumph

The Sverdlovsk Region Rapid Chess Championship among men and women was held in Pervouralsk on October 26 and 27. The winner of the tournament was the master of FIDE, a 1st year student of USUE Roman Kuzmin. Our student has not lost a single round.

A total of 61 chess players from Yekaterinburg, Aramili, Nizhny Tagil, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Revda, Krasnoturinsk, Pervouralsk, Verkhnyaya Salda, and the village of Bilimbai played in the tournament.

Russia of Students

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation invites the chairmen and deputy chairmen of the student councils of universities to the X All-Russian Educational Forum "Student Russia", which will be held in Saratov from November 7 to 10. Applications are accepted until October 13 via the link.

The event will bring together 500 representatives of student youth. The event is designed to promote the development of student councils of higher educational institutions. The forum participants will discuss the issues faced by student councils, outline ways to overcome problems, get acquainted with the designer of student councils and offer ideas to improve the quality of education and students' lives.

China and the Urals have a common history

More than 30 foreign students of USUE, as well as exchange students from China, visited the ancient city of Alapaevsk in the Urals and the village of Nizhnyaya Sinyachikha. The tour was organized in honor of the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

According to the students, this trip inspired them to visit other equally interesting places in the Sverdlovsk region, such as the Temple on Blood, the Ural Mountains, the Europe- Asia obelisk.

A great start!

The Russian Railways Student League among women's basketball teams started at the UrFU Sports Complex on October 4. The USUE team confidently defeated the national team of the Chelyabinsk region and the two—time champion of Russia for the last three years - the UrFU team.

The basketball players of the USUE played two matches in the first round. In the game against the national team of the Chelyabinsk region, the USUE team won with a score of 72:58. In the meeting with the UrFU team, the score was 60:57 in favor of USUE.

The next round will take place on October 25 in Tyumen. The girls will compete with the Yenisei team of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
