The elusive fighter pilot Captain Jack Hathaway spotted in the Columbus module. When he is not flying the robotic arm, he can be found organizing the health research stowage supplies. It is incredibly important to stay organized and efficient in such a small space, and he is a master. Just watch!

Chez ISS - Cooking on space station with Jessica and Anil

On this episode we give you farm to table, simple, and delicious. This Kale and Wasabi Mustard was grown on International Space Station over one month. We harvested several leaves and put them to the test. It might be the best meal we have cooked so far.

Thanks to the NASA veggie team for guiding us through the growth process and providing simple skills that could help provide food for future space travel. Mark Watney would be proud.

Today we practiced a joint training event with all the astronauts and nationalities on the International Space Station and the flight controllers on the ground. We simulated an ammonia release and a depressurization. There is always something to be learned and we sharpened the sword together, which is necessary to live in a high-stakes environment. It’s fun and rewarding. Come join us at NASA and grow with us! The challenges and potential for growth are limitless.
