🍽️ It was time for our Secondary School students to take part in the St Petersburger!

The challenge was simple: each team had to prepare a main course, a dessert, and a drink. But it wasn’t just about the food — teams also had to present their menu creatively and make it look as impressive as it tasted. To make it happen, students divided the responsibilities between cooking and designing and presenting their menu. It was a great example of teamwork, creativity, and collaboration! 👩🏻‍🍳🍝

Our judges were impressed by the hard work and creativity of every team, but this year’s winner was… Nightingale! 🏆

Congratulations to the winning house, and a big thank you to everyone who took part and made the competition such a success! 💫

🍔👩🏻‍🍳 Last Friday, our Primary School hosted the first House competition of the new school year — St Petersburger!

Students were challenged to create mini burgers, a dessert, and a drink. With the support of their teachers, the students enthusiastically got to work, coming up with ideas, cooking, experimenting, and doing their best to impress the judges with their creations! 🧁✨

The judges — Mr Maxim, Ms Alena, and Ms Lily — were impressed by the students’ hard work, creativity, and teamwork.

🏆👏🏻 But there can only be one winner! Congratulations to Newton on their victory!

The first school days are always special! Let’s take a look at how students at the International School of St Petersburg (ISSPb) kick off the new school year.

🔢 Year 3 worked with numbers, developing their mathematical skills through engaging activities.

🎮 Year 5 stepped into the role of game designers, coming up with ideas for their very own games.

🎨 Year 8 explored patterns through Art, experimenting with shapes, colours, and creative designs.

🎓 This year, we are delighted to announce that 100% of our students who sat their AS Level examinations achieved grades from A* to C, with 60% of all grades awarded being A*–B.

📓 AS Level (Advanced Subsidiary Level) is the first stage of the A Level qualification, an internationally recognised academic programme that follows secondary education and prepares students for further study at university.

The International School of St Petersburg (ISSPb) is an accredited LRN examination centre. International examinations are held on the school premises and are open to both ISSPb students and external candidates.

We wish our students continued academic success, new achievements, and excellent results as they progress to the next stage of their educational path.

End of Year Entrepreneurial Market and STEAM Project Demonstrations at ISSPb

Throughout the week, our Secondary school students developed their own business ideas, and on Friday they proudly presented them to other students, teachers, and parents. Just look at the creative posters they designed! Visitors enjoyed homemade cookies and cotton candy, took part in a football tournament, created beaded bracelets, and even designed their own T-shirts.

Meanwhile, our Primary school students showcased the STEAM projects they had been working on throughout the week. Every project was unique, reflecting creativity, curiosity, and innovative problem-solving.

Entrepreneurial Market and STEAM Project Demonstrations were a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the school year. Thank you to all our students, teachers, and parents for making this event such an inspiring and memorable experience.

We wish everyone a fantastic Summer break and look forward to seeing you in September! ☀️🎓

✨ Summer Show at ISSPb 🌼

The Summer Show was divided into three parts. The programme was opened by the school’s instrumentalists and vocalists, who performed pieces they had been working on throughout the term. The Primary school presented a stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, while the Secondary school students embarked on an intergalactic adventure. The Secondary school play was once again directed by the school’s Ambassador, Ksenia Vetrova, Year 10.

A big thank you to all the students, teachers, and parents for making it such a vibrant, warm, and truly unforgettable day! 🎭🎼
