Dear Friends,

It saddens us to announce that owing to the recent events, the German Foreign Affairs Office decided to cease financial support of all Russian researchers, teachers and scientific centres by DAAD which will affect the future work of the CGES. It means that, unfortunately, most of the planned events and research activities of the CGES are cancelled until further information.

Despite everything, we continue to prepare the Sixth Biannual International Conference ‘Networks in the Global World’ which will be held online on June 22–24, 2022. We invite you to submit abstracts of up to 2000 characters until March 4, 2022. You are also welcome to apply to participate in the conference as a listener.

Открыт прием заявок на участие в Зимней Школе: “Peace is not a state of nature. EU-Russia: Common Values, Common Future? Focus on Russia”

Центр изучения Германии и Европы СПбГУ приглашает студентов бакалавриата и магистратуры факультетов социальных и гуманитарных наук Санкт-Петербургского государственного университета, чья сфера интересов и деятельности связана с европейской тематикой, принять участие в немецко-российской виртуальной Зимней Школе “Peace is not a state of nature. EU-Russia: Common Values, Common Future? Focus on Russia”.

Школа проводится совместно с Европейской Академией Отценхаузена и при поддержке Германо-Российского молодежного обмена.

В рамках Школы участники обсудят такие темы как ценности в российской истории, культуре и обществе, актуальные вопросы российского гражданского общества, отношения России с ЕС и Германией. Обсуждения пройдут в форме лекций санкт-петербургских экспертов, интерактивных мастерских и командной работы с немецкими студентами, а также встреч с российскими молодыми активистами и политиками. Также мы очень рассчитываем на ваше креативное участие в представлении достопримечательностей и интересных сюжетов развития Санкт-Петербурга.

Рабочий язык: английский, без перевода.

Школа пройдет онлайн 15-18 февраля 2022 года после 16:00 каждый день. Участие в Школе бесплатное. При условии активного участия выдается сертификат.

В случае отмены пандемических ограничений участникам Школы будет предоставлена возможность участия в немецко-российской Летней школе в Германии летом 2022 года с фокусом на изучение Европейского союза.
