Vlerick и Пекинский университет вместе развивают такие программы, как Beijing International MBA, full-time MBA и part-time MBA на английском языке. Ирина Сорокина, выпускница full-time MBA, рассказала об особенностях обучения и жизни в Китае:

“В 2011 году по семейным обстоятельствам я снова оказалась в Китае. Впервые я приехала в Пекин в 1999 году на годичную языковую стажировку, потом приезжала еще раз на год уже как research scholar, будучи аспиранткой МГУ им. Ломоносова.

Беззаботная студенческая жизнь в Китае значительно отличается от жизни «взрослой», когда есть семья и работа, по крайней мере, со мной случилось именно так. Я поняла, что нужно максимально использовать этот временной отрезок и, как вариант, постараться сменить сферу деятельности по возвращении в Россию.

Программы MBA я рассматривала только очные и только в Пекине — работа позволяла мне вариант обучения full-time. Честно скажу, что одним из определяющих критериев выбора стало расположение кампуса — я училась в Пекинском университете в 2004 году и была влюблена в кампус — озеро Вэйминху прекрасно в любое время года!

Процесс подачи документов и поступления прошел гладко — и вот я уже студентка MBA. В первый день меня ожидал сюрприз — в admission office говорили, что иностранцев на курсе около 40%, но оказалось, что студентов-китайцев, имеющих паспорт других стран, справедливо посчитали за иностранных студентов. Знание китайского помогло мне очень сильно. Начнем с того, что групповые задания — важная часть обучения, а китайским студентам проще и быстрее проводить обсуждения на китайском. Конечно, если в группу попадал студент, не владеющий китайским языком, то ребята подстраивались, но обсуждение шло уже не так бойко. На китайском языке был ряд спецкурсов, во время поездок по стране и экскурсий на предприятия язык также был очень кстати. Профессора приезжали из Vlerick, Wardham, других школ, а также нам читали лекции известные китайские профессора, приглашали китайских бизнесменов в кампус — активностей было много.

Совместная программа Vlerick и Пекинского университета подойдет тем иностранным студентам, которые хотят продолжать работать именно с континентальным Китаем. Идеально совмещать учебу с изучением языка (если студент не владеет китайским). Адаптация к новой стране и новым социокультурным особенностям часто сопровождается чувством пустоты — поддержка ребят–сокурсников была очень важной. В плане веселой студенческой жизни есть что вспомнить — веселые potluck parties, караоке (китайцы отлично поют), походы в горы, поездки на затопленные участки Великой Китайской стены и многое другое”.
