Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University is one of the leading Medical Schools in Russia. It was founded in 1897. Pavlov Medical Institute.

It was founded 117 years ago in 1897 as first Russian Medical Institute for Women. More than 60 years our University was known all over the world as the First Leningrad I.P. The name, St Petersburg State I.P. Pavlov Medical University, was given to our University in 1994 by the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation. Present name (sinse 2013) is Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University.
