With great joy, we announce the Music Camp podcast series, where we will share mixes from producers and DJs who follow the avant-garde of electronic music, sound design, and computer music in its broad expression. At least, we will start with this musical aspect.

The host of episode 001 is Flaty ( ) – a music producer, founder of the creative studio ANWO, a key artist of the GOST ZVUK label, and a current instructor at the sound design faculty at HSE Design School. At our request, Flaty has put together an hour-long compilation of amazing music that perfectly illustrates what awaits you in the camp cloud – deep, technological, and non-trivial electronics exploring a variety of musical forms and sound solutions.

By the way this is not only update we had prepared in collaboration with Evgenii (Flaty). Very soon, there will be another important announcement that will delve into the creative universe of the author – Music Camp Podcast 001.

Today within the framework of Koshta Weekend educational programme we will talk to about the subtleties of creating audio-visual performances.

Evgeniy Fadeev also known as Flaty is an electronic musician, record producer and audiovisual artist from Moscow, the founder of ANWO RECORDS, a resident of GOST ZVUK (RU), Firecracker Recordings and 12th Isle (UK), West Mineral Ltd. and Soda Gong (US). Over more than 15 years of his musical career Flaty has produced both an expansive series of solo projects (Dada Ques, AEM Rhythm-Cascade, Wrong Water, Ocurob) and a multitude of collaborative studio albums (FFAA, SERWED, Square Fauna, WAXP, Untitled Gear). Flaty broadcasts his explorations at the intersection of sound, technology and visual arts in the form of live audiovisual performances through the ANWO STUDIO / ANWO RECORDS platform he established in 2017. He also pays particular attention to the development of the contemporary Russian independent music scene, working tightly with GOST ZVUK as an A&R and record producer. Since 2019 he has been part of the founding group of teachers of the Sound Art / Sound Design course on the platform of the HSE Design School, leading the Musical Production section.

Without false modesty and taking into account the off-the-scale relevance of the topic and the contribution of our guest to the development of the electronic scene, we note that this public talk is an unprecedented event, so we advise you not to miss the moment.

Grisha Rumyantsev is a club activist and a new name on the local scene with his debut set.

25 февраля в рамках фестиваля образовательной платформы Tashkent Music Camp совместно с 139 Documentary Center пройдет мастер-класс продюсера и певца Nocow (Алексея Никитина) из Санкт-Петербурга.

Nocow – ярчайший представитель электронной сцены постсоветского пространства, который отличается завидной продуктивностью. Его фирменное звучание можно найти в каталогах многих культовых лейблов со всего мира, а стаж студийной работы насчитывает без малого 2 десятка лет. По мимо всего, Алексей не боится рушить границы стилей и не любит оставаться в зоне комфорта, поэтому в последние несколько лет каталог его музыки пополнился вокальными треками, а его самого все чаще можно увидеть с микрофоном на сцене и в рамках резонансных коллабораций.

От себя мы можем сказать, что музыка Nocow умеет удивлять и часто отличается добрым и проникновенным вайбом, даже когда речь идет о быстрых техно-гимнах. Умножая этот факт на глубину творческой мысли и музыкальный кругозор, можно с уверенностью сказать, что Алексей Никитин — та самая «ясная голова» от музыки в широком ее понимании.

На мастер-классе Nocow поделится секретными приемами создания электронной музыки, расскажет о том, как не заблудиться в себе и технологиях, а также сделает разбор своих клубных хитов.

On 25 February, as part of Tashkent Music Camp festival and educational platform together with 139 Documentary Center will be held a master class by the producer and singer Nocow (Alexei Nikitin) from St Petersburg.

Nocow is the brightest representative of the post-Soviet electronic scene, who is distinguished by his enviable productivity.
His signature sound can be found on the catalogues of many iconic record labels from around the world, and he has been in the studio for nearly two decades. On top of that, Alexey is not afraid to break the boundaries of styles and doesn't like to stay in the comfort zone, so over the last few years his music catalogue has expanded to include vocal tracks, and you can increasingly see him with a microphone on stage and as part of high-profile collaborations.

For our part, we can say that Nocow's music is able to surprise and often features a kind and heartfelt vibe, even when it comes to fast-paced techno anthems. Multiplying this fact by the depth of his creative thought and musical outlook, it is safe to say that Alexei Nikitin is that "clear-headed" musician in the broadest sense of the word.

At the masterclass, Nocow will share his secret techniques for creating electronic music, will talk about how not to get lost in yourself and technology, and will do a breakdown of his club hits.
