Dear friends! The Alpha-Dialogue Centre of Additional Professional Education (Saint Petersburg, Russia), with support of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund is pleased to announce the upcoming *International Forum of Journalists "Russia-Africa. The Way of Friendship and Cooperation"*.
The Forum will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from April 22-23, 2025.
The International Forum aims to create a broad platform for facilitating interaction between Russian and African media outlets and, most importantly, for fostering new connections. The event will bring together leading journalists from Russia and African countries.
The Forum will feature representatives from Russian media outlets and news agencies. Participating African media will include representatives from Botswana, Ghana, Guinea, Cameroon, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, and Ethiopia. The Forum program includes analytical reports, a round table for exchanging experiences, and a discussion platform.
In addition to the in-person events, the Forum will also feature online sessions, including the opening project – a teleconference “The Way of Friendship and Cooperation,” as well as four lectures focusing on Russian Africa interactions.
Representatives of media outlets can participate in the in-person Forum on April 22-23 in Addis Ababa, provided they cover their own participation costs.
