Round table "Partnership as a way of cooperation between agribusiness and tourism industry" at Boiling Point

Entrepreneurs, heads of farm enterprises, lecturers and students of Petrozavodsk State University gathered to discuss the ways of cooperation between representatives of different business areas and learn about the positive experience of production diversification in terms of fish farming and tourism development as well as agriculture and tourism development.

The participants also got a chance to get familiar with the successful experience of intersphere collaboration in tourism and agriculture.
For entrepreneurs the information on funding support was presented.

The round table paved the way for further development of partnership between agricultural and tourism enterprises in the republic of Karelia.

♻️ Last week there was an online conference "Sustainability and ESG management of metallurgical enterprises and partner companies: reporting, ratings and investments" at Petrozavodsk Boiling Point.

🗣 The conference started off with a panel discussion on the prospects of Russian metallurgical enterprises and their partners on the commodity and investment markets in the context of sustainability and ESG practices.

📈 After the discussion the speakers told about sustainability reporting, ESG ratings and ESG cases of issuing companies of metallurgic value chains and partner companies.

🌏The conference brought together experts, specialists, top managers and financial analysts from Moscow, Vladivostok, Magnitogorsk, Lipetsk, Petrozavodsk and Copenhagen.

The event was organized by Onegoforum (Petrozavodsk), Emkvarta financial communication office (Moscow) and National Rating Agency (Moscow) with the support of investment channel Finversia (Moscow) within the framework of the project "Onego sustainability forum: innovations, investments, business and environment".

YOUTH FORUM "BUSY"

The final conference of the BUSY project took place at the hotel "Piter Inn" yesterday. The project participants shared the results achieved in 3 years and summed them up.

After the plenary session there were 3 sections opened for the attendees to learn new things: Creative / IT / International cooperation.

The director of Petrozavodsk Boiling Point, Alexander Konovalov, was one the of the curators and hold a workshop on idea generation for all the guests. As a result of the workshop some rather extraordinary ideas were born to implement in the future! 👍

📚 Educational seminar "Modern technology and equipment for district heating supply" at Boiling Point

🍁 At the end of October a two day hybrid seminar took place at the Boiling Point. It focused on the questions of implementing and using new modern technology and equipment in central heating systems in the future.

👥 The speakers were experienced specialists and experts in the field of heat networks: the head of ANO "Energy Efficiency Center" Aleksandr Berdino, the senior lecturer of Petrozavodsk State University Elena Zavarkina, the director of ZAO "SINTO" Aleksei Potapov and the head of "Utility Company 070" Sergei Korolyov.

The seminar was hold within the framework of the LowTEMP 2.0 project under the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme.

Business cooperation between Karelia and Voronezh discussed at the Boiling Point

✈️ Last week the delegation from Voronezh arrived in Petrozavodsk. The aim of the visit was to create and expand trade and economic contacts between the regions.

👋 The guests were welcomed by the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karelia, Ekaterina Lesnykh, and the Business Right Commissioner in the Republic of Karelia, Elena Gnyotova. The specialist of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Karelia, Viktor Rymashevsky, presented the economic potential of the republic and investment activity support.

🤝 The attendees had a sucessful networking session and shared expertise and opinions on the development of different bussiness spheres in the regions.

The event was organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karelia, Entrepreneurship Support Center of the Voronezh region and OOO "InfoCenter".

Lively and catchy kantele tunes are back here again 🎶

On the first day of autumn it's time to share what we did this summer and which main events took place at the Boiling Point 😉

Here are the top five summer events:

1. "Sustainable regional development: accessibility and environmental consciousness". It was a huge conference held by MTS (MobileTeleSystems) to share the results of the MTS Social Idea contest and discuss regional development prospects of social sphere, education, ecology and other areas. As one of the event results there were installed two WinBin smart bins: one at the Cosmos hotel lobby and another in the entrance hall of Petrozavodsk State University. Our city is heading in the right direction ♻️

2. "Workshop of the past". In June The Boiling Point space was full of different kantele sounds, dance movements and peals of laughter to the tunes of folk music. It was a part of the excursion focusing on kantele - the traditional Karelian musical instrument. Both children and adults found the excursions amusing and exciting. A new round of excursions held by the Charity Fund "Open oppurtunities" is expected this September.

3. "Horses of the Olonets Governorate". In the windows of the Boiling Point locals and tourists could track the history of horse breeding in the Olonets Governate (the name of the Republic of Karelia in the 19th-20th centuries) and see how everyday life and traditions looked like in Karelian villages back then. The window exhibition is going to close soon, so hurry up and take a look at our windows 😉

4. "Prospects of youth creative entrepreneurship" in Urozero. With the support of the BUSY Project the Boiling Point team spent a wonderful time outdoors at the shore of Urozero: we were developing creative thinkng and keeping fit 💪 during the foresight session. Whatever you do it's highly important to stay in shape and upgrade skills.

5. Firefighter Assistance Center of Karelia. This summer was extremely hot 🥵 For the republic of Karelia it was a hard time: our main treasure, our forests, were caught by fire. This is why the Center was established and based on the Petrozavodsk Boiling Point. Volunteers received food, equipment, clothes and other things every day and then sent them to firefighters. As a result there was formed a volunteer network of 70 people from different regions in just 3 weeks.

We've also kept and are keeping on informing you about the National Technology Initiative (NTI) development, current events aimed at getting closer and deeper into the NTI ecosystem. In this area the greatest summer event was Archipelago 2121. Learn more about the event: https://asi.ru/eng/news/

🖐🏻 В середине августа в регион приехали 20 лидеров добровольцев из других регионов России, чтобы познакомиться с флагманским проектом «Навигатор добровольчества», а также с инфраструктурными проектами, которые позволяют учреждениям культуры создавать комфортные условия для вовлечения жителей в совместную работу.

В связи с этим визитом в рамках Программы мобильности волонтеров на базе "Точки кипения - Петрозаводск" был проведен мастер-класс, участники которого дружно и активно занимались разработкой волонтерской программы и провели супервизию ранее разработанных практик. А команду Точки кипения наградили благодарственном письмом от наших партнеров - Доброцентр10: Волонтеры и Добровольцы Карелии 😊

🌲Любуемся карельской природой на берегу Урозеро

📖 И кусочек познавательной информации:

Первое упоминание об озере Урозеро зафиксировано в 1912 году. В документе отмечено, что вода имеет изумрудно-голубой цвет, особенно красивый при ярком солнечном свете и колебании волн. Про него и сейчас можно сказать то же самое. Озеро является одним из чистейших в России — прозрачность воды достигает 15 метров.

🌿 Свежий воздух, брейнсторминг и кроссфит

На этой неделе команда "Точки кипения - Петрозаводск" приняла участие в форсайт-сессии "Перспективы молодёжного креативного предпринимательства" на базе УОЦ "Урозеро".

В программу были включены образовательные тренинги, деловые игры, а также инновационная спортивная разминка 💪🏻

💡 Пребывание на свежем воздухе, заряд бодрости после разминки позволили провести плодотворную дискуссию по вопросам развития и поддержки молодежного предпринимательства в Республике Карелия и создания новых форматов работы с молодыми начинающими предпринимателями и теми, кто еще на стадии планирования открытия собственного дела.

Сессия организована в рамках проекта BUSY - Business for youngsters.
