Polish artist and photographer Laura Makabresku seems to take shots from a parallel reality, where dreams and reality intertwine. In her mystical works, it is easy to recognize echoes of folk tales, icon painting and biblical stories.

Birds, wings, fragile figures in diffused light create an atmosphere of quiet drama and subtle melancholy. The author calls herself a “storyteller”.

The airy female images in pastels by the Spanish artist Vicente Romero Redondo captivate with sensuality and depth.

His paintings are filled with light, warmth and lightness. Despite the density of the pastel, the master manages to achieve the most airy works, while maintaining realism and dynamism.

Vicente studied painting at the San Fernando Art School in Madrid, which is considered one of the most prestigious in the entire country: Salvador Dali once graduated from it! Now Redondo’s paintings are in private collections of collectors, and are also exhibited in the art capitals of the world.

is a Milan-based artist who seems to be more interested in the nature of the image itself than in the usual «painting». He works with cardboard, markers, acrylic and even boxes!

Ferlazzo likes to play with the boundaries of genres, combining the aesthetics of concept art, philosophical allusions and simple materials. His works are not about form, but about feeling.

The series of paintings «Lovers» by Jarek Pucel is a minimalist, yet emotional portrait of an intimate relationship. The figures seem to dissolve into each other: the faces are simplified to outlines, the color palette is muted and calm.

The artist himself admits that through the layer of paint he simultaneously opens and closes the plot to the viewer, creating a «censored field of emotions».

Have you noticed how these canvases echo Munch’s «The Kiss»? The viewer is overcome by an almost physical sensation of this kiss – as if he touched the ideal or the very essence of reality. Is this true?
