The Center for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) is a unique public platform created for those passionate about studying political, socio-economic, historical, cultural, and humanitarian processes in the countries of the Greater Middle East.
The primary mission of CMES is to strengthen relations between Russia and the states of the Middle East and North Africa by fostering a productive dialogue among academic, political, economic, cultural, and public leaders.
The Center's activities are aimed at bringing the peoples and states of the region closer to the Russian Federation, promoting a positive image of Russia on the international stage, and supporting the professional training of a new generation of Russian specialists ready to work in the dynamically developing environment of the Middle East region.
