It is well-known that exams candidates rarely look forward to doing listening skills tasks. This dislike is grounded in multiple factors. On the teachers’ part it is not easy to prepare students for the challenge either. You have to take the trouble to find appropriate audio texts, adapt them, deal with possible emotional backlash when learner struggle with the tasks.

We will deal with the following questions:
• Problems students typically have doing exam Listening paper.
• Listening abilities students are required to demonstrate in specific exams,
• Types of listening tasks and nuances of their completion
• Activities based on authentic materials to help students to prepare for Listening Parts

"Speaking Fluency Development to prepare students of higher level for international exams (FCE,CAE, CPE, IELTS)”

Fluency is an integral part of speaking assessment scales criteria in many internationally recognized language exams including such popular tests as FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS. In light of this, our centre is happy to announce workshop.

In the workshop we will speak about
• fluency itself and its constituents,
• difficulties students have with the criteria in exams,
• problems teachers encounter while addressing fluency development in lessons,
• and finally we will look into a series of activities to develop fluency and try to conclude essential general features of them.

C1 Advanced recognition in Australia

Открыта регистрация на пробные экзамены.

Пробный экзамен представляет собой генеральную репетицию экзамена основного. Пробные задания аналогичны заданиям основным, те же четыре части – чтение, письмо, аудирование и демонстрация устного навыка. Психологическая обстановка на пробной сессии в полной мере отражает условия пребывания кандидатов на экзамене основном. Так же заполняются бланки ответов, отмечается время.

Письменная и устная части пробного экзамена проходят одним днем. Единым потоком кандидаты сдают письменный раздел, а затем по очереди, каждый в свой час, приглашаются в экзаменационную аудиторию для защиты разговорного навыка.
