🌿☀️ Summer in Moscow is almost here — and it’s full of wonderful opportunities for little explorers!

We recommend picnics in the park, nature walks, outdoor games, and family time in the fresh air. Moscow’s green spaces are perfect for children to run, discover, and experience the season 🌼

At the same time, we encourage families to stay mindful of a few important things:

🕷️ Forest & grass safety
When spending time in parks or wooded areas, be cautious of ticks. Choose light-colored clothing, keep arms and legs covered when possible, and always check your child after outdoor play.

💧 Hydration matters
Warm weather means higher risk of dehydration. Make sure children drink water regularly, even if they don’t feel thirsty.

🌞 Sun protection
The summer sun can be strong. Hats, sunscreen, and shade breaks will help keep little ones safe and comfortable.

Summer is a great time for sensory play, water activities, creative outdoor games, and exploring nature — all perfect for preschoolers’ development and joy 🌈

Let’s make beautiful summer memories together!

🌿Beatrix Potter Classics🐰

This week, we are diving into the gentle and magical world of Beatrix Potter, one of the most beloved children’s authors of all time. Her stories are perfect for young readers, especially at bedtime, with their soft rhythm, charming characters, and beautiful illustrations.

Beatrix Potter (1866–1943) was an English writer, illustrator, and nature lover. She spent much of her childhood observing animals and drawing them in great detail. Her love for nature inspired her timeless stories, where animals wear little jackets, have tea parties, and go on small adventures. Her first and most famous book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, was published in 1902 and quickly became a favorite among children around the world.

✨ Why we love her books for kindergarten: they are short and easy-to-follow stories with gentle lessons about behavior and kindness, beautiful and calming illustrations just perfect for cozy read-aloud moments.

📖 Our picks this week:
• The Tale of Peter Rabbit
• The Tale of Benjamin Bunny
• The Tale of Tom Kitten
• The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck
• The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin

These classics are wonderful for building a love of reading while creating calm, comforting routines at home and in the classroom 💛

Last Saturday, we had the honour of welcoming Flying Bananas Theatre to our stage as part of our Open Day 🎭✨

With their vibrant and interactive performance, they brought so much joy to our audience. We were delighted to experience the colourful show “The Tiger Who Came to Tea”, a stage adaptation of the beloved English children’s classic by Judith Kerr, directed by Martin Cook.

Thank you for filling our space with laughter, imagination, and unforgettable moments!

We seek to give your child the confidence, strength, and water safety skills they’ll carry for life 💦 💪 1. Core Muscles
Every kick, stretch, and splash helps develop strong core muscles, supporting balance, coordination, and overall physical development.

🏁 2. Friendly Competition
Through playful races and team challenges, children learn teamwork, encouragement, and how to celebrate both effort and achievement.

🌊 3. Endurance
Step by step, little swimmers build stamina and resilience—learning to keep going, even when things feel challenging.

🌟 4. Character & Discipline
Swimming teaches patience, focus, and listening skills. Following instructions in the pool helps nurture discipline and boosts self-confidence.

🛟 5. Crucial Water Safety
Most importantly, children gain essential water safety skills—learning how to move safely, float, and feel comfortable in the water.

Because every splash is a step toward strength, confidence, and safety 💙

🫧 When toddlers and young children explore water, their brains are busy building millions of neural connections. Sensory play stimulates areas responsible for movement, problem-solving, language, and emotional regulation. Every splash, pour, scoop, and swirl sends signals through the brain that strengthen learning pathways.🌟

Water sensory play also supports fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and early scientific thinking. Children naturally begin experimenting: What sinks? What floats? What happens when I pour faster? These simple discoveries are actually the first steps of scientific exploration. 🔬
