How to save 3000 USD per year studying medicine in Moscow
As most of you already know, studying medicine is usually considerably more expensive than studying most other degrees, especially in Moscow, the Russia’s capital.
But we would like to share with you a way how you can save 3000 USD on tuition fees for the first two years of studying in the best medical university in Russia.
During the worldwide pandemic and restrictions on travel, universities in Russia have been working very hard to enhance their distant learning technologies and improve the quality of their online teaching methods.
I.M Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University is of course not exempt from that and they have successfully implemented their own distant learning platform that lets students start their education before coming to Russia and gives them time to prepare for moving to another country.
So this leads to the possibility of having the most popular programs like General Medicine (MD), Dentistry and Pharmacy to be conducted in a mixed format where students enter the program and study online for the first two years and then come to Russia to continue their education for the 3rd, 4th, 5th and in case of General Medicine 6th year.
So the good part of a mixed format studying is that first two years are considerably cheaper. Students will save around 3000 dollars each year for the first two years if they go for the General Medicine or Dentistry program and around 1500 dollars per year in Pharmacy program.
