Recently published book by Andrey Kolyada, Rector of EMAS, "The Next Level: Strategic Management of a new Era" became the winner in the nomination "Best Book by a Russian author" of the national award "Business Book of the Year in Russia – 2024". The award is held in two stages: voting by readers and evaluation by a professional jury. At both stages, the book took 1st place.
The book is a scientific monograph and introduces the reader to the advanced Russian universal integrated methodology of strategic management and business modeling. According to the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation S.N. Katyrin (a member of the jury), it "is actually a textbook for companies telling about building a business in modern realities."

EMAS MBA and Executive MBA programs have risen in Russian and Global rankings!
The reputable global rating agency Eduniversal (headquartered in France, has been operating since 1994) has released global ratings of MBA and Executive MBA programs for the period 2024/2025. The rankings are updated every two years and are based on anonymous graduate surveys, as well as assessments by a specially selected team of experts.
Almost all ratings are based on regional (Western and Eastern Europe, North America, South America, etc.) and country (Russia, France, Germany, etc.) principles, each region and country maintains its own ratings. There are also world rankings in a number of disciplines.
In most cases, EMAS Business School has retained the positions that our programs held in the previous version of the rankings (2022/2023). At the same time, in some cases, EMAS has achieved growth by taking higher positions!
For example:
In Russia:
★★★ TOP 7 (there were TOP 8) best programs in the Corporate Finance category in Russia (MBA: Finance).
In Central and Eastern Europe:
★★★ TOP 17 (there were TOP 18) of the best Executive MBAs in Central and Eastern Europe (Global Executive MBA: Strategic Management).
In the world:
★★★ TOP 61 (there were TOP 64) of the best programs in the category of "Health Management" in the world (Executive MBA: Management in Medicine).
In general, the MBA and Executive EMAS programs occupy very worthy positions in both Russian and global rankings! For example, the program MBA: General Management was awarded the 2nd place in Russia, the program Global Executive MBA: Business Modeling and Strategic Management is among the TOP 5 best EMBAs in the country.

On December 15, a meeting of the Expert Council of the Committee on Science and Education of the State Duma of the Russian Federation was held in Moscow, the executive secretary of which is the rector of our school Kolyada A.A. The results of the year were summed up, and gratitude was expressed to the most active participants. During the meeting, Andrei Aleksandrovich presented a new book to the Deputy E.V. Kharchenko, who oversees the work of the Council.

The defense of the final theses of English-speaking DBA students took place this weekend. The level of the vast majority of theses (both practical and scientific parts) was very high. According to the results of the defense, almost all students successfully defended themselves (grades 9 and 10) and received a DBA degree from EMAS, as well as a DBA degree from SSBM (students of a joint program with the SSBM business school).

26-28.10.2023, St. Petersburg. At the invitation of the "Belstar" company, Andrey Aleksandrovich Kolyada, rector of the EMAS Business School, held a 3-day strategic session. "Belstar" is one of the leading Russian and Kazakh manufacturers of multifunctional mixtures and ingredients for the food industry. During the strategic session, following the EMAS strategic management methodology, the management team discussed issues of business modeling, strategic goals, determining market position, as well as other issues of strategic business development.

The exhibition "Agroprodmash" took place in Moscow. There are simply no analogues to this exhibition in terms of scale, breadth of exposure and number of visitors - food market professionals in Russia.
As part of this event, the rector of our school Kolyada A.A. spoke on the topic “5 strategic tips for 2024.”
